Most of the time, slab leaks are hard to find because they appear beneath the home’s foundation. Because they’re out of sight, they may continue to leak and cause water damage for years. Slab leaks can harm your home’s foundation and structure if they’re not found quickly and repaired promptly. There are some warning signs to look for, including:

• Water damage to flooring. The water that comes from a slab leak doesn’t always come up through the walls. In fact, it often becomes trapped between the slab and the flooring.
