Your furnace’s pilot light is responsible for heating the air before it’s circulated throughout the home. If it gets clogged, it won’t work properly.
Our inspections always include checking the pilot light. If it’s clogged, a Team Member will clean it and check it again. If it’s malfunctioning, we’ll replace it.
Keeping your thermostat set to the same temperature all the time should lead to relatively consistent cycling between on and off states. Continuous cycling refers to a problem where your heater turns on and off constantly, instead.
